Memcached in Cloud Website Hosting
When you host script-based sites in a cloud website hosting account with our company, you can add the Memcached memory caching system to your web hosting plan with just a few clicks of the mouse through your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. The upgrade will be available immediately and, since the PHP extension required for it is already installed on our leading-edge cloud hosting platform, you can start using it right away. To give you more versatility, we offer two different upgrades related to the number of instances (i.e. how many sites will use Memcached) and to the memory that the Memcached caching system will use. The latter comes in increments of 16 megabytes and you can order memory whenever you wish. Logically, the more memory the Memcached caching system is allowed to use, the more data it will cache, so in case you have a regularly visited site with lots of data, you may require more memory in order to be able to make full use of the power that Memcached can offer you.
Memcached in Semi-dedicated Servers
You can get the Memcached caching system as an optional upgrade with each of our semi-dedicated plans and since it works with any script-powered app, you can use it for any Internet site that you host on our semi-dedicated servers, no matter what application you have used – Joomla™, Mambo or WordPress, a custom-created application, etc. You can add the upgrade through the respective section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel from which you manage your semi-dedicated server account, and you can select two different features – the instances and the amount of memory that they will use. To put it simply, these things determine how many websites will use the Memcached system and the amount of memory that the system will be able to use in order to cache your info. The two things are offered independently for more freedom and one instance does not come with a pre-defined amount of memory. You can make use of Memcached with any kind of site and both you and your visitors will quickly notice the difference in the performance.
Memcached in VPS Servers
Memcached is included by default with every VPS server that we’re offering provided that you choose Hepsia as your hosting Control Panel, so you will not have to pay anything extra to be able to make the most of the full potential of this data caching system. The more powerful plan you choose, the more memory Memcached will have for information caching purposes, but you’ll have at least several hundred megabytes at all times, which is much more than the amount of memory you would get with a shared plan. This will enable you to use the Memcached system for a lot of Internet sites, no matter how popular they are, which in turn goes to say that you can use a lower-end plan for them without overloading your Virtual Private Server. The caching system is excellent for script-based apps like WordPress, OpenCart, Joomla™ or Mambo, and you can use it even with a custom-developed app. Soon after you activate Memcached, it will begin storing info and you’ll see the optimized overall performance of your sites.
Memcached in Dedicated Servers
Memcached comes for free with all dedicated web hosting plans offered by us and the only requirement is that the dedicated machine must be ordered with the Hepsia Control Panel. You can use the data caching system for any database-powered website, including those based on famous software applications – for instance, a WordPress online journal or a Joomla™-powered community portal. Each dedicated machine is tied to a given amount of memory that the Memcached caching system can use, but the minimum amount you’ll get is 3 GB, which is sufficient enough to improve the loading speed of very busy websites greatly, since this memory will be dedicated to storing the cached content. The system will start storing information the moment it is activated, so soon after that, you’ll notice the improved performance of your Internet sites and the decreased load on the dedicated machine. Plenty of websites use Memcached to increase their effectiveness, including famous ones such as Reddit and Wikipedia.
